Brown Memorial
The Liberty Aviation Museum, located in Port Clinton, Ohio, has an opportunity for you to honor one of the most
important and influential men in the military and education, Lt. Col. Harold H. Brown. As one of the Tuskegee Airmen, Harold H. Brown made history as a combat pilot during World War II. He was not
only an airman, but also as an educator; one of the fathers of the two-year college option, giving young students new
confidence toward stellar careers. Harold passed away in 2023 at the age of 98, but his legacy lives on.
The Liberty Aviation Museum features:
- WWII Aircraft
- 1928 Ford Tri-Motor (Offering Living History Flight Experiences)
- Local aviation & Military History Exhibits
- WWII American & German Military Vehicles
- Classic Cars
- Vintage fire trucks
- WWII Sherman Tank
- WWII PT boat restoration
- 1929 Ford Tri-Motor restoration
- Hollywood Memorabilia
and more!
And the best part is that the majority of our aircraft, vehicles, and tanks are operational during the Spring - Fall seasons during special events!
At times during the season, groups can also take flights in visiting aircraft or helicopters or the museum owned & operated historic 1928 Ford Tri-Motor "City of Wichita"/"City of Port Clinton"! Group rates are available for 10 or more for the Tri-Motor rides!
Docent-guided and self-guided tours are available. The tour lasts about 2 hours depending on a group's time schedules.
